So as a result of my previous findings and questions that had been risen, I began experimenting with changing certain classic orchestra instruments that I had already scored and record with ethnic ones. I have exchanged the clarinet parts to Shahrazad (middle-eastern clarinet) from my ethnic sound library (Ethno World by EastWest), the oboes and bassoons with ceylon snake charmer, Shenai, Ciaramella and Ney flute (depending on the situation) and the flutes with Shenai and Ciaramella as well. Of course, and unfortunately for convenience reasons, these instruments were re-performed and re-recorded as they needed a different stylistic approach in terms of m.i.d.i performance in order to sound as natural as they could. Furthermore changing a midi instrument with a different one, based on my 20 years of experience with midi, does not guarantee cohesion with the rest.
Furthermore I continued scoring the rest of the clip (07:53 - end of clip) with a slight tend towards exoticism but keeping in mind the consistency with the previous parts.
