Experimenting with a variety of instruments in order to create a more exotic approach in 'Intolerance' Clip 2. Practical five birth to a variety of questions such as:
- Using more ethnic instruments and less from the classic orchestra set; How would that provide enough sense of dynamism?
- What is the meaning of the violins, the ney, the oud etc? Where should I use them?
- Instrumentation begins with the knowledge of each instrument's performance on its own, and then the overall blending of sounds and frequency response. How to approach and challenge that with exotic elements?
